Delivered in partnership with Inland Interiors, this recognition celebrates design excellence and the power of purposeful refurbishment in student housing. The project is one of 17 collaborations between GSA and Inland Interiors, together enhancing communal spaces and facilities for more than 5,000 students across our U.S. portfolio.

At Yugo Austin Nueces, every design choice was intentional - balancing form and function to create an environment that supports both academic focus and social connection. The refreshed amenity spaces foster community engagement, encourage extended use, and help students imagine daily life within the building. The result is a setting that feels modern, local, and distinctly “Austin”, while delivering strong leasing performance and long-term value.
 

This award-winning refurbishment forms part of GSA’s broader U.S. investment program, which includes the transformation of flagship properties such as The Summit, Salt Lake City — a multimillion-dollar redevelopment that will set a new benchmark for student living in the region.
